NFL Owner Pat Bowlen Retires – A Sad Day In Denver, CO.

Pat Bowlen retires. The Classy NFL Owner of the Denver Broncos has stepped away from his role as active owner. A more loved, and giving man cannot be found in the modern day NFL’s ownership group.

Highly successful in all that he’s done for the city of Denver and the State of Colorado, his influence and guidance in the promotion and development of the modern NFL has been strong, and greatly appreciated. The Denver Broncos issued a statement from the team and the Bowlen family.

“The Broncos are very saddened that Mr. Bowlen is no longer able to be part of the team’s daily operations due to his condition. We continue to offer our full support, compassion and respect to ‘Mr. B,’ who has faced Alzheimer’s disease with such dignity and strength.

“As Mr. Bowlen focuses on his health, the Broncos have announced changes to their leadership structure that will ensure the long-term stability of the franchise.

Pat Bowlen’s wise ownership has yielded two world titles, six AFC crowns and now, a smooth transition as he steps back to focus on his Alzheimer’s fight.
